ReRun is a metadata-only television programming engine. It turns an authorized catalog into personalized scheduled channels, guide windows, on-now state, and join-live offsets.

ReRun receives catalog descriptions and returns schedule descriptions. It does not scrape, resolve, proxy, download, host, or transmit media.

A host submits metadata it is authorized to process—titles, episodes, durations, genres, ratings, and references. ReRun normalizes that catalog and produces deterministic channel and guide metadata.

The integrating host does. The host owns authorization, territory and policy checks, media delivery, player behavior, and every final playback decision.

No. Every public-demo channel, title, episode, and score is fictional. The demo requires no credential and makes no provider or media request.

ReRun TV is a real, watchable channel lineup built from a first-party collection of works asserted to be in the United States public domain on a documented, per-asset basis (pre-1929 publication, publication without notice, non-renewal, or US-government authorship). Each asset is cleared through ReRun's own rights system, and playback is issued through short-lived gateway sessions. This is public-domain material, not licensed partner content, and the per-asset diligence is support—not legal advice.

Deterministic rules combine duration, rotation, genre fit, continuity, variety, and dayparts such as morning, after school, prime time, and wind-down. Quality evidence explains why each item was selected.

A birthday or meaningful date can shape a formative-era window and pacing profile. This is a preference signal, not a claim that ReRun reconstructs an exact historical broadcast.

Production playback decisions default to deny. An active agreement, approved provenance, valid schedule binding, allowed territory, surface, and monetization mode are required before a host can receive an allow decision.

Early integration work can use the Engine API and SDK components for catalogs, channels, guides, quality evidence, viewer sessions, and join-live timing. Availability is currently early access, not general availability.

ReRun is an early-access release candidate. r3run.com demonstrates the engine both with a synthetic demo and with a real, first-party public-domain collection on ReRun TV; it does not promise licensed partner playback or general availability.

ReRun Studio is the separate private operator workspace used to manage authorized catalogs, rights evidence, quality review, and integrations. It is not part of this public site or synthetic demo.

The public demo does not require an account and contains no real catalog or provider data. Ordinary request and security logs may still be processed as described in the Privacy Notice.
