ReRun is metadata-only.
Copyright & Takedown Policy
Effective: July 11, 2026
ReRun respects intellectual-property rights. ReRun processes authorized catalog metadata into schedules and does not host, locate, route, or play media. A catalog item appearing in a host integration does not mean ReRun claims ownership, sponsorship, authorization, or a license for underlying material.
Before sending a notice
If media is stored and controlled by an integrating host, contact that host to address the underlying copy. You may also notify ReRun so we can evaluate whether to disable relevant catalog metadata, schedule bindings, or tenant access.
Copyright notice
Send a written notice to [email protected] containing:
- Your physical or electronic signature, or that of a person authorized to act for the rights holder.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed, or a representative list if multiple works are involved.
- Precise identification of the catalog metadata or ReRun result at issue, including the ReRun URL, title, tenant information if known, and enough detail for us to locate it.
- Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the disputed use is not authorized by the rights holder, its agent, or law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorized to act for the rights holder.
Incomplete or ambiguous notices may delay a response. We may forward a notice to the relevant provider or affected user and may preserve it as needed for legal and security purposes.
Counter-notice
If you believe material was disabled by mistake or misidentification, send a counter-notice to [email protected] identifying the removed material and its prior location, explaining the mistake, and including your contact information, signature, and the statements required by applicable law. Do not send a counter-notice unless you understand its legal consequences.
Repeat and serious misuse
Where appropriate and technically possible, ReRun may block identifiers, sources, configurations, or users associated with repeated or serious infringement. ReRun may act immediately when necessary to protect rights holders, users, providers, or the service.
Caption operations
ReRun caption-operation decisions default to deny and require explicit host permissions for transcription, translation, storage, and distribution. ReRun does not perform public caption generation in the synthetic demo.
No legal determination
ReRun cannot adjudicate ownership, fair use, licensing, or public-domain status. Removal or restoration is an operational response and is not a determination of liability. Knowingly making a material misrepresentation in a notice or counter-notice may expose the sender to liability.
Important operator step
This policy does not by itself register a statutory copyright agent or guarantee safe-harbor protection. The operator should obtain legal advice about whether registration, publication of additional contact information, or other procedures are required.
